Pay your deposit - or your whole booking - on our website

We regret, we cannot take credit card bookings over the 'phone, or when you are here.  You can, however, now pay your deposit or your entire stay from this web page.  The process is:

1. Call Jill & Rupert Richardson on 01388 762473, or email enquiries@dowfoldhouse.co.uk to confirm availability and make a provisional booking
2. Choose from the options below just what you want to pay for.  If you are paying for multiple rooms, then select the button more than once.  To complete the transaction, click on the button.  This takes you to PayPal's secure payment site, where you can enter your personal and card details and make the payment.
3. You will then be sent an email confirming the transaction.

• Note that this is NOT an online BOOKING system.  You do have first to check availability with Jill & Rupert Richardson on 01388 762473. 
• Our terms of business and cancellation policy will apply to all such bookings.

Dowfold House Cancellation Policy

We are a small establishment, with just three bedrooms, able to accommodate up to six people per night.  This means that cancellations can have a big impact, both on us and on those whom we turn away in favour of someone who has already booked, and who then cancels at the last minute.  We don’t think kind thoughts about such people!

We do, however, appreciate that unforeseen circumstances can intervene, and we try to be as sympathetic as possible in such cases.

For cancellations made within 72 hours of the start date of the booking we will expect a cancellation fee of £10 per room per night, or the deposit paid, whichever is the greater.

Where possible and reasonable, however, we will always do our best to accommodate our guests’ changing needs.

Please be ready to pay the balance on departure by cash or cheque made out to "J Richardson".  If this is not convenient, we recommend you pay for your whole stay using the "Pay online" facility HERE.

Please note that we prefer you to check in at 5pm or later, unless otherwise arranged.  Once you're checked in, you can of course come and go as you please.

It would help if, on the day of departure, you can clear your room by 11:00.  You are welcome to continue to use the sitting room and garden.
