What's Happening Around Here?

This page shows just a few of the many events taking place around Dowfold House that you may like to visit.  It's all very date dependent, and we'll keep it as up to date as possible, but forgive us if a few things become a bit historic.  Also, if you know of anything we should include here, please let us know on enquiries@dowfoldhouse.co.uk 

• 5th-20th July - your chance to be all BRASSY!!
  'Brass' is a Durham Brass Initiative project that aims to raise the profile of Brass music and promote working in partnership across County Durham through a programme of high quality events and a range of participatory opportunities.
• A good place to look is the VisitDurham Website, where you can look for the kind of event you are interested in, and put in dates when you will be here.
• Bishop Auckland has a surprising number of event of all kinds.  Details can be found HERE.
• Wear Valley District Council maintain a list of events in (not surprisingly) the Wear Valley.  Mostly very local, but other stuff as well.
