To start with

On the table and side-board you will find:

A selection of fresh and/or stewed fruits, according to the season

A variety of yoghurts

Individual Cereals

Porridge, (please ask for this the night before)

Orange juice. Other juices are available – just ask

A fresh, chilled half-grapefruit is often on offer

Beverages

Enjoy a pot of freshly brewed coffee or tea, or ask for

Hot Chocolate

Decaffeinated coffee

Herbal tea, fruit tea, green tea or Earl Grey

The Main Event

Choose from

Dowfold House English Breakfast

Two sausages, two slices of bacon, and a fried egg, all sourced from free-range local farms, mushrooms, tomato (home-grown in season)

Smaller Dowfold House English Breakfast(for those with smaller appetites!)

One sausage, a slice of bacon, mushrooms, tomato and a fried egg

If you would like baked beans, hash browns, local black pudding or delicious, home-made Irish potato bread with your breakfast, just ask

Poached eggs on toast

One or two poached eggs on either brown or white toast

Scrambled eggs

On toast or with tasty smoked salmon

Boiled eggs

One or two boiled eggs, with brown or white toast

Kippers

Kipper fillets served with brown bread and butter

Sausage or Bacon Sandwich

A sandwich made from brown or white bread and filled with either sausage or bacon - or both!

Baked Beans on Toast

With an egg, bacon or sausage if you fancy it

OR mix and match, just as you wish. If you have any other requests, just ask, and we’ll do our best

Or, for the lighter alternative

Continental breakfast, for the lighter start to the day

Warm croissants, pains au chocolat, a selection of yoghurts and fresh fruit
